An analysis of the 75-year-old Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter house determined that rebuilding the facility, at the same prestigious location on the doorstep of the University of Kansas, was a more cost-effective route than renovating. A successful fraternity capital campaign made these renovations possible:
-
Grand lobby and foyer showcases the first level in addition to twin living rooms
-
Large, quiet library
-
Dining room and kitchen facilities
-
Housemother’s suite
-
Second and third-floor individual study rooms, sleeping dorms, small-group study room, and bathroom and shower facilities
-
Basement space designated for a state-of-the-art computer room, special project/drafting room, art and design room, mechanical room, and miscellaneous/educational storage
