The Home Association and Foundation have spent years working with engineers and project advisors and assessing the facility to determine the best possible solution to address the Beta Phi chapter of Pi Kappa alpha at Purdue University and their need for a system upgrade and an update of common and student living spaces. They have studied the needs and desires of today’s undergraduates and alumni, evaluated other fraternity renovations and new construction, and consulted with University officials about trends in campus housing. It has been nearly 50 years since the Beta Phi Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha moved from Andrew Place to their current home. While updates and repairs have occurred over the decades, it’s at a point where a major systems update is overdue. A renovated facility with modern safety and utility systems is instrumental to keeping the chapter house open and code compliant.
