The Texas Gamma alumnae of Pi Beta Phi at Texas Tech University and undergraduate leadership have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the Pi Beta Phi experience on the Tech campus. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance to the lodge are necessary by way of a fundraising campaign, and they must invest in the lodge to meet the needs of today’s students. The Texas Gamma House Corporation has developed a tactical approach to their future.
Project Highlights:

Major site upgrades to the exterior of the lodge, including but not limited to landscaping, a new roof, new windows and doors for structural durability and aesthetic appeal

Address mandatory life-safety issues with sprinklers, fire-rated doors and full compliance with code specifications

Larger, more accessible kitchen with modernized appliances to support group meals and nutrition instruction events

Add square footage to several areas in the lodge, including the family and dining areas and a new second floor

Additional storage for archival, recruitment and ritual materials

Add an ADA-compliant bathroom and enlarge the current bathroom to accommodate growing number of members and guests

Upgrade lodge with efficient HVAC system
