The Missouri Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has been an important and consistent part of Missouri State University since its founding in 1985. Since 1987, 1107 East Elm Street has been a home away from home for Missouri Epsilon brothers. Successful fraternity fundraising will allow the Chapter to maintain its record of accomplishment and continue attracting and retaining quality members. After much assessment, the alumni leadership determined a need to rebuild. This need is the inspiration for the “To do what ought to be done” campaign.
With the rebuild, an emphasis will be placed on providing a safe structure with ample study space and a competitive physical structure to help attract young men. The goal is a high-quality, durable facility that meets the needs of current and future students with regard to technology, privacy, and modern amenities.
The new facility will include:
•11,409 square feet
•New HVAC system
•Occupancy of 27 with parking for 24 members
•More common spaces to facilitate fraternal activities
•Quality and durable interior aesthetic finishing
•Modern technology with wireless Internet
•Fire-safety sprinkler system and security features
•ADA-compliant features, including an elevator
