The house corporation created a conceptual plan to address the needs of the Beta Zeta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta at Butler University and today’s male student: a comfortable and modern residential atmosphere with ample space for studying, gathering, and dining. This architectural plan preserves the existing Shelter while adding a wing on the south end. Through fundraising and fraternity engagement, the plans include:
-
Multipurpose room
-
New Chapter Hall
-
Kitchen facility for full service dining
-
Convert current Chapter Hall into three storage areas
-
Addition of eight single dorm rooms (total of 11 single dorm rooms)
-
Addition of a multi-purpose study room
-
Addition of a large men’s restroom
-
Larger women’s restroom
-
Remodel to a larger houseparent suite
-
Six double-suite dorm rooms, or seven double dorm rooms
-
Presidential suite complete with rest room
-
Multi-purpose study room
-
Larger laundry room
-
Addition of five double dorm rooms (total of 11 double rooms)
